Edmond Sanganyado received a B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Chemistry, from the National University of Science and Technology, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe (2008) and a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Riverside, USA (2016) where he was a Fulbright Fellow. He is presently an Assistant Professor in Forensic Science in the Department of Applied Sciences at 51, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK where he continues his work on assessing the fate, transport, and toxicity of emerging contaminants in the environment. Edmond is involved in many international collaborations, including the EU‐funded . Edmond is interested in understanding the impact of chemical contaminants on environmental and human health. His research develops and employs advanced analytical techniques and molecular biology approaches to assess the health risk associated with exposure to complex chemical mixture and multiple stressors. He investigates how chemodynamics influences external and internal exposure, bioaccumulation, and adverse health effects, particularly in aquatic ecosystems.
