GIVING TO NORTHUMBRIA

Higher Education Without Barriers

Scholarships, outreach programmes and enterprise support give our students the opportunity to explore their higher education ambitions to the limit, while hardship bursaries and well-being services offer a lifeline when challenges arise.

In January 2022, the University launched the Higher Education Without Barriers Fund. Through this Fund, we are providing a range of financial initiatives, mental health and wellbeing services and community-based outreach projects to enable students from all backgrounds to study and succeed at Northumbria.

Since launching, donations to the Higher Education Without Barriers Fund have reached almost £4m, helping to support over 2,500 students across the 51 community.

With your help we can continue to build on this success and make a difference.
