Andrew Coulson

Andrew Coulson MA, ACA, BA., is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Taxation. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and joined NBS in 1992. He has acted in a consultative capacity to the National Employment Savings Trust in relation to the implementation of the new national government pension scheme, and to local firms of solicitors. He has also lectured short courses to the corporate law department of Ernst & Young Athens and to the National Bank of Ukraine on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs).

Andrew has written two published texts: Accounting for Solicitors (3rd edition) and The Fundamentals of Taxation (4th edition) and a University Guide on objective testing. He is also the Lead Writer for a professional accounting body exam paper which examines IFRSs, and the Chief Examiner for a synoptic assessment.

Andrew's primary research interest is corporate disclosure and the efficiency of betting exchange markets.
