Maryam Garba

I am interested in developing (non-Euclidean) geometric statistical methods for the analysis of聽data聽sets of phylogenetic trees. This methodology has a natural extension to graph-valued data, with an increasing number of problems in transport networks, genes, and neurology. I am also working with colleagues at Newcastle University to find early indicators of Parkinson's disease by analysis muscle activation patterns.
